We are the Dice War development team — a three-person indie game development group. We met at a game development marathon and came together through our shared love of strategy games. From the initial prototype to the complete game today, we've always held one belief: the best strategy game should have rules simple enough to learn in five minutes, yet enough depth to spend a lifetime mastering.
Dice War was born from a simple idea — what happens when the world's oldest random tool (dice) meets the most classic strategy element (territory conquest)? The answer lies in the hexagonal battlefield before you. We deliberately kept the rules minimal: roll dice, highest total wins. But it's precisely this minimalism that creates infinite strategic possibilities.
As indie developers, we don't have the resources of large companies, but we have an obsession with every pixel. From the random map generation algorithm to the AI decision engine, from dice roll animations to interface interaction details — everything has been polished repeatedly. We believe that excellent game experiences come from an uncompromising attention to detail.
