Machi Koro is a fast, family-friendly city-building dice game for 2–4 players. You are the mayor of a tiny town that starts with nothing but a wheat field and a bakery. On your turn you roll dice, collect coins from the buildings you own, and buy new establishments or landmarks. The first player to finish all four landmarks wins. On this site you can learn how to play Machi Koro and play Machi Koro free in your browser against AI — no download, no account.
Designed by Masao Suganuma and published by Grounding Inc. in 2012 (US editions by IDW Games and Pandasaurus Games), Machi Koro won the 2015 Geekie Award for Best Tabletop Game and was a Spiel des Jahres nominee. A typical game lasts about 30 minutes and plays 2–4 players (ages 10+). The name literally means "Dice Town."
